General Production Worker

Job Description

The General Production Worker will make wax parts that are used to create airplane and aerospace components. The job involves operating machines, assembling small wax pieces, inspecting them for quality, and following instructions to ensure everything is made correctly. You'll work as part of a team and may rotate between different work areas throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Operate wax molding machines to make wax parts.
• Inspect parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Assemble wax components using work instructions.
• Prepare materials used in the manufacturing process.
• Follow production procedures and safety guidelines.
• Assist with machine setups and product changeovers.
• Work at different stations as needed.
• Meet daily production and quality goals.
• Keep your work area clean and organized.
• Work with team members to keep production running smoothly.
• Learn new tasks and processes as needed.

Essential Skills

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to follow written work instructions and manufacturing procedures accurately.
• Strong attention to detail when inspecting and assembling wax patterns and components.
• Ability to learn and perform multiple manufacturing processes within the wax cell.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers.
• Industrial and general production experience or aptitude in a manufacturing setting.
• Mechanical aptitude with comfort using hand tools and production equipment.
• Basic machine operating experience in a production or assembly environment.
• Understanding or exposure to production lines and manufacturing workflows.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent quality standards.
• Capability to obtain access to export-controlled information as required by the role.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50419.00 - $50419.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
