Job Summary

A growing professional services organization in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the CFO with day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, analysis, and process improvement. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys owning the work directly, improving processes, and contributing meaningful financial insights to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and key performance metrics.
- Manage general ledger accounting, journal entries, account reconciliations, trust accounting, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, audits, tax filings, and multi-state compliance requirements.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
- Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and provide financial insights to leadership.
- Support internal controls, collaborate with auditors, and assist with mentoring junior accounting staff as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $120,000 to $150,000 per year.
- Job Type: Direct hire.
- Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301.
- Schedule: Hybrid after 90 days.
