System Administrator - Level 1 - Help Desk Tier 1

Stratum Networks is a rapidly growing information assurance and cybersecurity solutions company that provides high-end network and security consulting to Department of Defense and Intelligence Community clients. We are looking for a talented and passionate candidate who would support one of our clients located in the Annapolis Junction, MD. CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI WITH POLYGRAPH TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION. Job Description: Provides technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and/or systems hardware and software

• May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
• Applies basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions
• Provides remote support access through desktop mirroring and other remote access applications for worldwide sites
• Identify, investigate, resolve, and follow-up problems brought to the helpdesk by users of cloud infrastructure (Candidate MUST complete training during the first several months on contract.)

Required Skills: Customer Service Immediate long term position. M-F 8 pm - 6 am Salary: $84k - $171k depending on experience and contract. Excellent benefits package, including up to 3 weeks paid vacation and 11 paid holidays. Eligible for health care (single and family) immediately. 401(k) plan with employer match available. Qualifications: Must meet contract level requirements for appropriate position. HS or GED with 5 years experience or Bachelors with 0 years experience

• IAT Level 1 certificate is required within 6 months of start date.
• CompTIA A+ CE
• CompTIA Network+ CE
