Human Resources Director- Dallas/Fort Worth

Responsibilities :

• Lead HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and policy administration.
• Advise leadership on workforce planning, staffing, employee engagement, and organizational development.
• Manage employee investigations, disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and exit processes.
• Maintain HR policies, employee records, job descriptions, and performance evaluation processes.
• Oversee full-cycle recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts.
• Coordinate employee orientation, training, and professional development programs.
• Monitor compliance with required training and maintain accurate training records.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, HIPAA, Joint Commission standards, and organizational policies.
• Administer employee benefits programs, open enrollment, and employee leave processes.
• Review benefit costs, vendor performance, and related contracts.
• Serve as Safety Coordinator and member of the Quality Management Performance Improvement Committee.
• Coordinate workplace safety initiatives, incident reporting, and corrective action planning.
• Supervise front office operations to ensure professional customer service and administrative efficiency.
• Oversee facilities, maintenance, security, vendor relationships, and emergency preparedness efforts.

Skills/Requirements, Competencies, Knowledge, and Qualifications :

• Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, employee relations, and benefits administration.
• Understanding of HIPAA, Joint Commission, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership experience with a solid knowledge of payroll/HRIS, employee benefits, employment law, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, speak, and hear for extended periods.
• Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years of HR management or leadership experience.
• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, nonprofit, or other regulated environments preferred.
