Aerospace Source Inspector

Position Aerospace Source Inspector Job Description The ability to perform in-process and final source inspections including First Article inspections per AS9102 Quality Standards (Basic inspection requirements, ability to read a PO, drawing, determine if an FAI has been approved). The ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, geometric dimensioning and tolerances per ANSI / ASME Y 14.5. This position requires knowledge of GD&T and handheld measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc). A checklist will be provided for reference. Candidate must pass a GE quiz. Additional Information It is a part-time assignment (activity is occasional). Candidate should be willing to travel, and support suppliers within a 150-mile radius of Detroit, MI. Applicant must be a US Citizen; we are unable to sponsor at this time. W2 contract position to work on an as-needed basis.
