Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. Ensures patient safety and promotes healing through collaborative and evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and standards of care.
• Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment, adapting care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff and support personnel.
• Document patient care accurately and maintaining compliance with organizational policies.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum one year of acute care or medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Valid BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
• Demonstrates strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills.
