RN - Specialty II
Alpha Home Health and Hospice
We are seeking a registered nurse with at least one year of nursing experience to provide critical patient care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include: Applying critical thinking, effective communication, and making decisive judgments with minimal supervision. The role involves working in stressful situations and taking appropriate action. Qualifications and Certifications: must possess department-specific credentials such as ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certificate, APHON Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider card within 12 months (for pediatric oncology), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for ICU, ED, PACU, and other specialty areas. PALS is required for pediatric areas, with a 30-day window for non-pediatric backgrounds. NICU nurses need NRP certification within 30 days. L&D nurses must complete fetal monitoring certification before finishing orientation. Additional requirements: RN Fellowship Program requires one year of independent practice, with ACLS and BLS certifications. Newly licensed RNs have six months to obtain ACLS or PALS.
