Site Manager (Facilities Manager)

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Site Manager with strong interpersonal and communication skills to join a supportive team in a successful and expanding school.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall cleanliness and safe operation of the facility. Basic maintenance skills, computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel) and supervisory experience are required.

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and committed individual who can-

• Manage a small cleaning crew
• Perform basic maintenance tasks
• Conduct quality assurance checks and health and safety audits
• Proactively respond to school operational needs

The ideal candidate will:

• Be self-motivated, flexible and adaptable to different tasks at hand
• Physically able to push, pull, lift, carry or maneuver weights up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Be relationship focused, able to understand the needs of others and proactively respond to them
• Be a proficient communicator both oral and written
• Have the ability to think creatively and technically
• Have excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Be confident in the use of IT, specifically Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Be proactive and able to prompt others to ensure deadlines and targets are achieved, calm working under pressure
• Have a high level of integrity
• Relish the idea of working in a child centered environment within an international context
