Join a global manufacturing and technology organization undertaking a broad cybersecurity improvement program across enterprise technology, connected products, and operational environments. This role will work closely with Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering, Product, Operations, Communications, and senior leadership to organize and execute a portfolio of security initiatives already underway while helping shape the next phase of the organization's cybersecurity roadmap.

• Lead a visible portfolio of enterprise cybersecurity initiatives.
• Remote-oriented opportunity with preference for candidates in the Charlotte, NC area or Southeast region.
• Occasional travel to Charlotte will be required.
• Work across enterprise security, application security, identity, vendor platforms, product/IoT security, and operational technology initiatives.
• Partner directly with cybersecurity leaders, engineers, product teams, business stakeholders, and senior executives.
• Help translate cybersecurity assessments and strategic priorities into structured, executable programs.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Lead multiple cybersecurity projects and workstreams simultaneously, establishing clear plans, owners, dependencies, milestones, risks, and success measures.
• Help formalize and prioritize an existing cybersecurity roadmap and incorporate recommendations from upcoming enterprise security assessments.
• Coordinate a comprehensive cybersecurity assessment and associated partner-selection/RFP activities.
• Drive security technology and vendor initiatives, which may include MDR platform transitions, identity improvements, and other enterprise security enhancements.
• Coordinate product and application-security initiatives, including cybersecurity assessments and Secure SDLC/control improvements.
• Support OT and connected-product security programs by organizing technical teams, SMEs, stakeholders, and remediation activities.
• Partner with communications and business teams when security changes affect employees or broader organizational processes.
• Provide concise executive updates covering progress, risks, blockers, dependencies, and decisions.
• Hold workstream owners accountable for commitments and ensure issues are escalated and resolved appropriately.

Are you an experienced cybersecurity program leader ready to make an impact?

• Significant experience leading complex enterprise technology or cybersecurity programs.
• Proven success managing multiple concurrent projects and interdependent workstreams.
• Broad understanding of cybersecurity concepts and environments without the need to be a hands-on security engineer.
• Experience translating security requirements and technical initiatives into structured delivery plans.
• Strong program governance, roadmap development, prioritization, risk management, dependency management, and executive reporting skills.
• Experience partnering with cybersecurity, infrastructure, engineering, application, product, and business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls .
• Experience with one or more areas such as application security, Secure SDLC, identity, cloud security, vulnerability management, security operations, vendor platforms, OT, or IoT/product security.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, accountability, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to present clearly and confidently to senior leadership.
• Manufacturing, OT, IoT/product-security, and vendor-transition experience are highly valued but not required as deep specialties.
• PMP, PgMP, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or related credentials are beneficial.
