Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!As part of a hardworking team, interns work directly with Blue engineering teams on projects in support of our business units.**Avionics Software Intern projects** vary but can include the design, development and testing of avionics hardware and software for programs ranging from orbital rockets, ground systems, test stands, to moon landers.**During your internship experience, you can expect to:*** Gain hands on, real-world experience.* Receive mentorship and feedback from mentors and managers.* Participate in events to learn about other parts of our organization.**Basic Qualifications:*** Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.* Currently enrolled in a graduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.* Available to work full time for 15 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.* Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.* Passion for mission and vision.**Desired:** If you have any of the following experience, include it in your resume!* Relevant internship/co-op and academic project experience that demonstrate development of both technical skills as well as leadership qualities.* Hands-on project experience.* Experience with software verification & testing.* Exposure to CI/CD.* Software coding experience in one or more of the following: C, C++, Python, Java Script, Shell, Rust.* Experience with embedded software.* ARINC Standards, UML/SW Design.* Flexibility and Adaptability.* Ability to work as a member of a team.We offer housing and relocation support. **Interns are responsible for daily transportation to and from their work locations.**When you apply, be sure to include your internship, co-curricular and research experience in your resume.
