Job Summary
The Respiratory Therapist Specialty is located in Charlotte, North Carolina. This position involves providing critical care respiratory therapy services within a busy facility that features a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center. The role supports adult care and NICU patient populations, with a focus on patient-centered respiratory care in a team-oriented environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT), National Certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP, with at least 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy. The candidate must have a valid drivers license and insurance, and be willing to accept first-time traveler assignments.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Critical Care, Cardiovascular Intensive Care, Neonatal Intensive Care, and Progressive Care. Familiarity with all floor therapies and department specific equipment such as servo ventilators, Trilogy, ResMed AirCurve, HiFlow, Airvo, NOXbox, and bubble CPAP.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to all listed facilities within Region 2, including Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, any Freestanding Emergency Department within Region, and other facilities within the scope of practice. Floating mid-shift is paid for travel time between facilities.
• Additional Information: Orientation includes 2 days of departmental and facility-specific training. The department emphasizes teamwork, adherence to values and culture, and maintains a supportive environment with respiratory care leadership and staff.
