Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
• LBS1 endorsement required
• Experience providing instructional supports in reading fluency, reading comprehension, and foundational math skills
• Skilled in both push in and pull out service models
• Strong collaboration skills to partner with general education staff, families, and student support teams
• Genuine passion for nurturing academic and personal growth in diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct special education services for an average caseload of 20 students
• Implement both push in and pull out strategies to address IEP goals, primarily in reading and math
• Assess student progress and adapt instruction to meet individual needs
• Develop and maintain effective communication with parents and multidisciplinary teams
• Support students by modifying curriculum and using targeted interventions specific to SLD and DD populations
• Maintain accurate documentation, including IEPs and progress reports, ensuring compliance with district and state requirements
• Create a supportive, inclusive, and positive learning environment
