JOB TITLE: Maintenance Technician
PAY RANGE : $22 – $28/hour | SHIFT: 1st / 6a – 2:30 PM

QUICK SUMMARY
Prototek is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day upkeep of our manufacturing facility and office environment. This role is ideal for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual who enjoys troubleshooting problems, completing repairs and helping keep operations running smoothly. 

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean and functional work environment. Formal education is not required: practical maintenance experience, problem-solving skills and a willingness to tackle a wide range of projects are most important.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Perform general building and facility maintenance repairs
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs
• Managing facility, grounds, and fleet maintenance activities
• Working with outside vendors and service providers
• Supporting continuous improvement and facility upgrade projects
• Scheduling preventative maintenance activities
• Promoting a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
• Partnering with operations teams to keep production running smoothly

REQUIREMENTS :

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in maintenance, facilities, or industrial equipment (preferred)
• Experience supporting manufacturing equipment and facilities (preferred)
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and CNC related equipment (preferred)
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and general maintenance practices
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• OSHA certification and forklift experience are a plus
