Job Title: Mechanical Assembler (Contract)
Location: Pasadena, TX 77507
Pay Rate: $30.00/hour
Contract Length: 1 Year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (occasional weekends and overtime as needed)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Pasadena, TX. In this role, you will assemble complex components using mechanical drawings and bill of materials, ensuring high-quality standards are met. You will also perform functional testing, operate test equipment, and prepare assemblies for shipment in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble complex components per assembly drawings and bill of materials
- Perform functional testing on assemblies based on customer and division criteria
- Operate and maintain test equipment in compliance with engineering standards
- Apply settings, calibrate, and maintain assembly tools
- Perform torquing of components and run pneumatic tubing
- Prepare finished assemblies for shipment
- Distribute quality notifications (QNs) as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with test equipment and assembly tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work overtime and weekends when required
