Job Title: Cherry Picker Operator
Job Description

Join a dynamic team in the Tile Department, consisting of eight dedicated individuals. As a Cherry Picker Operator, you will handle tasks that require comfort with heights, working with 5-foot double racks approximately 20 feet tall. Your role involves lifting items weighing up to 65 lbs or 70 lbs consistently, utilizing RF scanning guns, and operating stand-up reach equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate cherry picker and stand-up reach forklifts efficiently.
• Retrieve tiles and boxes weighing up to 65 lbs and transport them to wrapping and will call areas.
• Utilize RF scanners to accurately count and read labels.
• Engage in manual labor as required for warehouse operations.
• Be flexible to move around different departments as needed.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in operating forklifts, including stand-up reach models.
• Experience with RF scanners and inventory control.
• Ability to consistently lift and handle weights of up to 65 lbs or 70 lbs.
• Comfortable working at heights of approximately 20 feet.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with pallet jacks and warehouse distribution.
• Candidates should have a long-term interest in growing with the company.
• Ability to adapt to different departmental needs.

Work Environment

The work environment involves operating in a warehouse setting with equipment such as cherry pickers, stand-up reach forklifts, RF scanners, and pallet jacks. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Fe Springs, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
