Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to neonatal patients, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to clinical protocols.
• Float between Bridgeport and Milford campuses, offering support as required.
• Operate and troubleshoot Draeger ventilators and other respiratory equipment specific to NICU settings.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Orientate students and new hires as needed, promoting a learning environment within the NICU and pediatric units.
• Participate in data collection and patient monitoring using EPIC charting systems.

Qualifications

• Current CT Respiratory Therapist license, CRT or RRT certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience, including Level II trauma and acute care experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NRP, PALS, and CPFT certifications preferred.
• Proven expertise in using Draeger vents and managing various types of neonatal respiratory equipment.
• Experience utilizing EPIC charting systems and documenting patient care accurately.
• Willingness to float to different units and campuses based on facility needs, including weekends and holidays.
