Our agency opened in 2013 and is a close-knit team of six focused on growth, support, and creating a positive environment. Before becoming a State Farm agent, I worked as a manager at Verizon, which helped shape my leadership style and focus on team development. Im a proud parent and a former high school cheerleading coach. I stay actively involved in the local school district and community, and Ive been honored as the first coach to receive the Jet Setter Award. For our team, we offer a flexible, family-oriented environment with team-building activities and development programs, along with a Simple IRA and reimbursement for licensing costs. Our office culture is upbeat, energetic, and supportive. Were looking for someone who is self-motivated, positive, and brings great energy to the team - someone who enjoys working with others and wants to grow in a fun, collaborative environment. ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Amy Latham - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. If you thrive in a supportive role and are eager to learn and grow within the insurance industry, we invite you to apply and become a valued member of our team. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
