Before you apply: this role is for experienced hoist techs Construction hoist experience (required). You’ve erected, jumped, serviced or repaired construction personnel/material hoists (Champion, Alimak, GEDA, Safi or similar). 480V 3-phase electrical experience (required). You can troubleshoot 480V three-phase power, motors, motor controls and VFDs from a schematic. This is not an entry-level position, and applications without hands‑on hoist and 480V 3-phase experience won’t move forward. If that’s you, keep reading. We’ve been looking for you. What your day looks like Erect, jump and dismantle rack-and-pinion personnel and material hoists: mast sections, tie‑ins, landing gates and enclosures Troubleshoot and repair 480V 3‑phase power, motors, VFDs, car and landing controls Inspect, maintain and repair drives, gearboxes, brakes, rack and pinion, overspeed safety devices and limit switches Perform inspections and drop tests per ANSI A10.4 and manufacturer requirements, and document the results Work with GC superintendents on jumps, tie‑ins and service windows so the site never stops Mentor apprentice techs and share what you know (future leaders start here) What’s in it for you $40–$45/hour to start, based on experience $1,500.00 sign‑on bonus to welcome you aboard Significant overtime and double‑time opportunities.
