You're a program-minded marketer who thinks in systems: you can take a strategy and turn it into a rollout plan with real deadlines, real deliverables, and real quality control. You're comfortable being the last set of eyes on content before it goes out, and the first to flag a contract term that needs a second look.

You're naturally curious about how the team's processes actually work — not just running programs, but benchmarking tools, vendors, and workflows against what would make delivery faster and cleaner, and making the case for what's worth changing. You care as much about the SMBs on the receiving end of these programs as you do about hitting a deadline.

A Day in the Life
On any given day, you might review and redline a partner agreement before it's countersigned, catch a messaging issue in a program deliverable before it ships, map out the next phase of a program rollout with the team, and benchmark a workflow or tool to see if it can cut review time down. Roughly 70% of your time goes to hands-on program strategy and rollout execution; the other 30% goes to benchmarking and implementing the process improvements that make the other 70% faster.

Key Responsibilities

Program Strategy & Rollout Execution (~70%)

• Own the strategy and day-to-day execution of Braven’s digital marketing programs for small businesses, delivered through chamber and local government partnerships.
• Translate program frameworks and leadership direction into concrete rollout plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Review, redline, and send contracts and agreements tied to program delivery.
• Review marketing content and program deliverables before they go out, ensuring quality, accuracy, and consistency with program standards.
• Manage the execution calendar for workshops, campaigns, and program milestones.
• Assign team members to program workstreams based on capacity and expertise, and follow up on progress against deliverables and deadlines.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and review checkpoints for team members assigned to each program, tracking their work against program KPIs.
• Track program performance against goals and adjust rollout plans based on results.
• Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for program partners and participating businesses on delivery matters (not new partnership development).

Process Efficiency (~30%)

• Identify where content production, reporting, and internal workflows across programs can be streamlined.
• Pilot, implement, and roll out selected process or tooling improvements, including documentation and team training.
• Measure and report on efficiency gains from process changes.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in program management, marketing operations, or agency/nonprofit program delivery.
• Track record of turning marketing or program strategy into structured rollout plans with real deadlines and deliverables.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools for marketing or operations
• Comfort reviewing contracts and agreements and flagging risk (legal background not required, but strong contract literacy).
• Experience reviewing marketing content and deliverables for quality, accuracy, and brand consistency.
• Comfort benchmarking and rolling out process or workflow improvements across a team.
• Strong project management and organizational skills; comfort managing multiple programs at once.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Based in or able to reliably commute to Long Beach, CA — this is a full-time, on-site role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with chambers of commerce, local governments, or small-business support programs.
• Experience in a marketing or creative agency environment.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred but not required.
