Dermatology Veterinary Technician

Position: Dermatology Veterinary Technician Proposed Schedule: Monday‑Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. What you’ll do Manage appointments: obtain histories, medical record keeping, invoicing, patient discharges, etc. Perform “Gold standard” intradermal and serum allergy testing on both canines and felines. Perform intravenous catheter placement, venipuncture, biopsies, ear cytology, skin scraping, fungal disease testing and other laboratory testing. Assist with deep ear flushes (middle ear cleaning with video‑otoscopy). Learn about and utilize various therapeutic diets for canines and felines based on allergic disease. Inspire, teach, multitask and be a highly functional team member. Ensure documentation is accurate and complete. Who you are State‑registered Veterinary Technician license preferred. Prior veterinary experience required; prior dermatology experience desired. Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant‑rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.). Flexibility with work hours and ability to work additional hours when necessary. Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
