We are currently seeking a PRN (as needed) Registration Specialist for our Family Medicine Clinic in Valley Center. In this role, you will be the first face many patients see as they begin their healthcare journey. Your professionalism, warmth, and service-focused mindset will play a key part in ensuring that our patients have an outstanding experience from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Greeting patients and providing a welcoming, helpful, and professional first impression
• Answering phone calls and taking messages
• Completing patient registration, including verifying demographics, insurance, collecting co-pays and required documentation
• Collaborating with clinical and administrative staff to support efficient clinic operations
• Demonstrating exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Performing general office and clerical duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• High school diploma or GED required

Experience

• Previous healthcare or customer service experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Professional demeanor, compassion, and comfort working with diverse patient populations
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage a fast-paced front desk environment beneficial
• Microsoft Office and phone etiquette experience a plus
• Medical terminology coursework preferred

Licensure, Registration, or Certification

• No licensure required
