Job Summary The Manager of Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading a team of recruitment professionals to develop and execute innovative strategies for attracting and hiring top talent for faculty and staff positions. This role involves utilizing data-driven approaches to analyze recruitment metrics, enhance initiatives, and improve the overall candidate experience. Additionally, the manager collaborates with academic and administrative departments to identify their staffing needs and align recruitment efforts with the institution's strategic goals. Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing performance, providing feedback, and making pay recommendations. Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy that targets and attracts qualified candidates for faculty and staff positions. Lead the recruitment team by setting clear performance expectations, conducting regular training sessions, and providing ongoing feedback to enhance team effectiveness. Utilize applicant tracking systems to streamline the hiring process, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient scheduling of interviews for candidates. Conduct thorough candidate screenings and interviews, utilizing structured assessment tools to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit within the institution. Implement data-driven recruitment metrics to analyze the effectiveness of hiring strategies, identifying areas for improvement and adjusting approaches as necessary. Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors to enhance sourcing options and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates. Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires by coordinating orientation sessions, training activities, and resources that support their integration into the institution. Promote employer branding initiatives through social media and professional networks to enhance the institution's visibility and attract high-caliber talent. Collaborate with department heads to assess staffing needs and create tailored job descriptions that accurately reflect the qualifications and responsibilities required for each position. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent, related experience Required Experience 5+ years of relevant experience; 3+ years of supervisory experience Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of related supervisory experience Master's degree in related discipline or equivalent, related experience Experience in a centralized, shared services, matrixed, or multi-client service delivery environment Proposed Salary Proposed Salary: $98,000-$105,000. Commensurate with education and experience.
