# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** September 14, 2026**Location:** Greater Houston Area, Texas**Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants**Schedule:** Rotating shifts with day and night coverage; weekend rotation required; no on-call**Highlights:**- 19-bed Emergency Department within a state-of-the-art acute care facility- Patient ratios of 4:1 or 5:1 allowing for quality, focused care- Comprehensive case mix including tPA administration, STEMI care, CPR, laceration repair, and orthopedic care- Philips equipment and Meditech EMR system- Collaborative team environment with dedicated charge nurses, triage nurses, bedside RNs, and support staff- Professional development opportunities with access to unit policies and continuing education resources**Requirements:**- Active Registered Nurse license in Texas (or eligibility for multi-state compact)- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, and TNCC certifications required- Strong clinical skills in emergency and critical care procedures- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities- Positive, adaptable attitude and commitment to team culture**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**Join a dynamic Emergency Department team committed to delivering exceptional patient care in critical situations.
