HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT The ideal candidate will design and draft components, assemblies, and subsystems that meet the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to create detailed engineering drawings and layouts for mechanical and electrical assemblies. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will optimizedesign factors, including functionality, manufacturability, material availability, cost, and serviceability, while ensuring compliance with customer specifications. Enable and Drive Change in the Organization.WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKEDesign and draft components, assemblies, and subsystems following standard engineering and industrial practices and procedures while adhering to qualityobjectives.Identify, specify, and integrate commercially available industrialcomponentsas necessary.Utilize various materials suitable for design applications, including machine components, weldments, ceramics, and plastics.Coordinate the design development of work orders, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and quotes with other departments whileparticipatingin Material Review Board (MRB) processes and Advance Deviation Requests (ADRs).Conduct thorough analysis and testing tovalidatedesign decisions and prepare comprehensive reports.Apply engineering fundamentals and experience to perform routine and moderately complex engineering tasks.Provide innovative solutions and apply theoretical techniques to real-world engineering problems.Work independently on complex designs with minimal supervision, exercising sound judgment in technical decision-making.Train and support junior engineers,facilitatingtheir growth and development.Perform other related duties as may be reasonably assigned in the course of business.Achievement of objectives must include an over-riding commitment to quality that must permeate the areas of responsibility. Duties may change without notice at management’s sole discretionWHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFULBachelor’s degree or equivalentin mechanical engineering, and 6 to 10 years of relevant experience or aMaster’s degree with 3-6 years of experience.Proven engineering skills with strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities. Proficient in CAD, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and GD&T principles. Effective communication and teamwork skills, focusing on decision-making and data analysis. Strong organizational abilities and leadership potential.
