Responsibilities:

• Supervise dietary staff, including cooks, servers, and assistants, to ensure effective and efficient service delivery

• Plan, coordinate, and implement menus, nutrition programs, and dietary services that meet residents' needs and preferences

• Inspect food preparation areas, equipment, and supplies to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation

• Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure food quality and presentation meet established standards

• Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction

• Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing and activities, to ensure seamless coordination of services and care

• Maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory management and nutritional assessments

Requirements:

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse staff and residents

• Knowledge of food service operations, including menu planning, nutrition programming, and food safety regulations

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing situations

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in food service management, dietetics, or a related field preferred
