Allied Universal is currently hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a pharma location in Lexington, MA. Responsibilities Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and conditions that may require follow-up. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and visitor access as directed by site policies, and document security-related observations, incidents, and daily activities in required reports. Support a professional environment by following post orders, assisting with directions and general inquiries, and helping to address security-related concerns with courtesy and adherence to site protocols. Minimum Qualifications Valid driver’s license (as per Allied Universal driver policy requirements). Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred). CPR certification and/or First Aid certification (preferred). Customer service experience (preferred). Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles. High school diploma or equivalent. Background check required by federal, state, and local laws; qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered in line with applicable laws. Drug screen required where permitted by law. Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required before employment. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
