MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Missouri commercial driver license with S endorsement
• School bus permit
• Air brake certification

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Transport students over specified routes according to an established time schedule
• Transport students to events and field trips
• Comply with traffic regulations
• Drive safely and professionally
• Perform required pre-trip inspections
• Enforce the student discipline code
• Submit required medical certification
• Participate in required training
• Participate in required drug and alcohol testing
• Other duties as may be assigned

TERMS: Full-time with benefits; $20.31+ per hour with possible steps for experience

EFFECTIVE: 2026-2027 school year

SCREENING TO BEGIN: Immediately; open until filled

CLASSIFICATION: Non-exempt

Recommendation to be given at the August or September 2026 Board of Education meeting.
