This role is responsible for supporting financial reporting, month-end close, regulatory reporting, and process improvements within the accounting department.Qualifications:CPA required (no exceptions)Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance3–8 years of accounting experienceStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reportingExperience with report writing and data analysisProficient in Microsoft OfficeDetail-oriented, analytical, and highly organizedAbility to work both independently and in a team environmentMust pass a background checkKey Responsibilities:Manage month-end close and prepare financial reportsPrepare quarterly regulatory reportsCreate and review journal entries and reconciliationsAnalyze financial data and research account discrepanciesAssist with audits and regulatory examinationsSupport budgeting and internal reporting processesImprove and streamline accounting workflows and systemsOversee property tax reporting for multiple locationsMentor and support accounting staff as neededParticipate in ongoing industry and regulatory trainingPhysical Requirements:Prolonged sitting and computer useAbility to lift up to 25 lbs Express Employment Professionals
