(Direct Hire) Description: Our client is seeking a dynamic Electrical Estimator for one of the fastest growing design-build electrical contractors in Texas. to run the Service Division of a fast growing Commercial/Industrial Design~Build contractor in Texas. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both large commercial & industrial design/build projects. Responsibilities: Manage all preconstruction & estimation activities Develop accurate, competitive yet profitable bid proposals for projects of varying size and complexity Review RFQ's, RFP's and Invitations to bid for compliance with company standards, schedules and competitiveness Manage estimating schedules, workflows, & priorities Review quantity takeoffs for accuracy & compliance with specifications & drawings Communicate with client to define scope, address and discrepancies & negotiate pricing Prepare contractual exhibits, scope documents Maintain & manage Accubid database Certifications & requirements: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering or equivalent field Extensive experience (10+ years) electrical estimating and preconstruction leadership Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Technology: Estimating software such as Accubid.
