We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead custom home builds and high-end renovation projects from preconstruction through final handover. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role where you will serve as the primary point of accountability for schedule, budget, quality, and client experience on every project you lead. You will work directly with homeowners, architects, interior designers, and our trade partners to deliver residences that reflect Navicon’s standard of excellence.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

\n

\n
• Lead custom home and renovation projects end-to-end, from preconstruction planning through client walkthrough and closeout.
\n
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and engineers to ensure design intent is fully realized in the field
\n
• Construction management and administration (managing RFI’s, Submittals, CO’s, etc.);
\n
• Review of drawings for completeness and best practices.
\n
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and trade sequencing to keep projects on time and on budget.
\n
• Source and manage trade partners and vendors; negotiate scopes, review bids, and issue purchase orders
\n
• Responsible for purchase orders, budget adherence, and all project-related costs
\n
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
\n
• Serve as the primary client contact throughout construction—setting expectations, communicating progress, and managing selections timelines
\n
• Manage and analyze direct and indirect cost budget.
\n
• Creates, maintain and coordinate project schedules.
\n
• Manage single or multiple projects at various stages of development.
\n
• Delegate and oversee responsibilities to team members of assigned projects.
\n
• Coordinate, manage and negotiate with different municipalities all permits requirements and grant approvals.
\n
• Maintain daily on-site presence to oversee subcontractors, inspect quality, and resolve field issues proactively
\n
• Observe general compliance of as-built conditions with the contract drawings and specifications.
\n
• Review construction schedules, trade payment breakdowns, job cost reports, and payment requisitions.
\n
• Approve and send out weekly project status reports and direct daily client communication.
\n
• Coordinate subcontractor work in all trades associated with that project(s).
\n
• Establish and communicate deadlines for project completion.
\n
• Conduct regular project meetings and deliver clear progress updates to ownership and clients
\n
• Able to manage, teach and train junior staff in all areas of Project Management
\n
• Prepare construction budgets for review and approval by upper Management
\n
• Uphold and enforce Navicon’s Core Values and quality standards across all business aspects

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
\n
• At least 4+ years of experience in construction administration, architecture, engineering, construction management or similar experience.
\n
• Deep knowledge of residential construction sequencing, systems, and finish work
\n
• Detail oriented, strong aptitude in computer skills, communication skills and grammatical skills
\n
• Strong financial acumen—comfortable building and tracking detailed project budgets and cost reports
\n
• High organizational discipline—you run tight schedules, tight documentation, and don’t let details slip
\n
• Knowledge of the local permitting process and construction delivery methods and Agreements.
\n
• Familiarity with construction best practices, general building codes.
\n
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook and MS Project
\n
• Must be fluent in Spanish and English (Required)
