Responsibilities
- Plan and provide total patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs.
- Direct and guide patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and document changes accurately.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care across shifts and ensure safe patient transitions.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, privacy, and adherence to facility policies and professional standards.
- Maintain accurate, complete nursing documentation and participate in discharge planning as appropriate.

Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current Iowa RN license
- BLS and ACLS required
- Experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and rotate weekends/holidays
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and meet onboarding requirements
