This assignment is a travel - temporary opportunity with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Prepare the sterile field and instrument setup for surgical procedures; maintain strict sterile technique throughout cases
- Hand instruments and supplies to the surgeon; anticipate instrument needs and assist with instrument handling during operations
- Maintain accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments; manage specimen handling and labeling as required
- Assist with patient positioning, draping, and exposure; support suction, retraction, and irrigation as directed by the surgical team
- Ensure OR room readiness and turnover between cases; collaborate with circulating nurses, anesthesia, and surgeons to support workflow
- Contribute to safety, infection control, and adherence to hospital policies; participate in trauma and complex case workflows as needed

Requirements
- Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
- Experience: Travel assignment experience preferred; Level 1 Trauma experience required; Burn exposure experience preferred
- Education: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program (typical requirement for CST role)
- Credentials: Must be able to work in a fast-paced operating room environment with on-call responsibilities including weekends and holidays
- Additional: Ability to perform duties in a hospital OR setting and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
