Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment approaches as appropriate
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members to support comprehensive patient care
Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Colorado or ability to obtain prior to start
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred or eligibility required
Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current BLS/CPR certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care environment
Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment, including modified barium swallow studies
Familiarity with MDS documentation and skilled nursing facility regulatory requirements
