Best working hours: most stores open 9AM‑6PM; many closed Sundays. FirstCash 401(k) program available to employees 21 years or older. Position Summary We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales a plus). The Store Manager will be accountable for day‑to‑day store operations, promote a positive/productive environment, lead, coach, and develop employees, recruit and retain top talent, maximize financial goals, and manage customer relations and satisfaction. The role reports to the Area’s District Manager. Pay rates will not be below any applicable local minimum wage requirements. Responsibilities Facilitate a customer‑centric environment, engaging customers politely and quickly resolving issues. Train Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards. Recruit top talent through company‑prescribed channels. Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise, and ensuring all procedures are followed. Ensure asset protection through inventory control, property safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans. Administer processes and procedures including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and enterprise‑level reporting. Analyze store financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal‑setting. Maintain operating standards that meet or exceed FirstCash standards. Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure the value and integrity of all loans issued. Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development. Communicate clearly with employees about the store’s mission and profit objectives. Stay up‑to‑date on product knowledge. Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting) per law. Demonstrated ability to supervise others. Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification. Possible in‑building or exterior support duties. Minimum age 18 years. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Able to work at multiple locations as business needs dictate. Willing to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Store Managers may work 45+ hours per week; hours are not guaranteed. Computer literate; operate POS systems and common office machines. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills. Analytical skills. Cash handling experience is required. Work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent work ethic and strong business sense. Commission Plan Information The commission incentive plan is proprietary and based on monthly gross profit.
