Job Description

Job Summary:
The CT Tech position involves operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. This role requires working independently within a fast-paced hospital environment, providing accurate imaging to support clinical decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Operate GE and Discovery 450 CT scanners to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Prepare and position patients safely and comfortably for scans.
• Follow protocols for image quality and safety standards, including radiation protection.
• Document procedures accurately within the EMR system.
• Maintain equipment functionality through routine checks and reporting issues.
• Adhere to dress code requirements and maintain a professional appearance.

Qualifications:

• ARRT certification with credentials in Radiologic Technology (RT T) and completion of BLS.
• Minimum of 2 years of related radiology experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Knowledge of GE and Discovery 450 CT scanners, MRI, X-ray, and body scanners.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to shift changes, and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Open to working weekends, nights, and flexible hours.
• Strong critical thinking and patient care skills.
