JOB TITLE: Quality Inspector II
PAY RANGE : $24 - $29/hour | SHIFT: 1st

QUICK SUMMARY
Prototek is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector II to support our manufacturing operations by performing in-process, final, and first article inspections on precision components. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, interpret complex drawings, and help drive quality standards throughout production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Perform in-process and final inspections on manufactured parts
• Complete First Article Inspections (FAIs) and customer certification requirements
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, height gages, CMMs, and other inspection equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements
• Verify compliance with customer specifications and quality standards
• Support AS9100, ISO9001, and quality system requirements
• Mentor and train less experienced inspectors
• Partner with production teams to resolve quality concerns

REQUIREMENTS :

• High School diploma or GED required
• 5+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
• Manufacturing, machine shop, aerospace, medical device, sheet metal, or additive manufacturing experience
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
• Experience with CMMs and precision measurement equipment
• Knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, or ISO13485 quality systems
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects
