Registered Nurse (RN)-Critical Care Float Pool

Pay Rate: $ 1,800 To $ 2,019 Per week

Schedule: Day / Night Shifts

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Critical Care Float Pool (ICU / ED) for a 13-week contract in Kealakekua, Hawaii. The RN will primarily provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit while supporting other nursing units when needed.

Candidates must have hands-on experience in both Emergency Department and ICU nursing . Additional float responsibilities may include telemetry monitoring, patient transport, patient observation, rapid response support, and Code Blue participation.

• Provide primary nursing care to Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit patients according to clinical needs and established standards.

• Perform comprehensive assessments, monitor high-acuity patients, and respond promptly to changes in clinical condition.

• Participate in rapid response and Code Blue teams while supporting emergency and critical care interventions.

• Float to other nursing units as needed to assist with telemetry monitoring, patient transport, observation, and other supportive nursing responsibilities.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams while maintaining accurate documentation and safe continuity of patient care.

• Minimum 2 Years of Registered Nurse Experience Required With Both Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit Experience.

• Current, Active Registered Nurse License Required; Applicable Hawaii Practice Requirements Must Be Met Before Start.

• Current BLS/BCLS Certification Required.

• Current ACLS and PALS Certifications Required.

• Ability to Work 12-Hour Evening and Night Shifts, Float to Other Nursing Units as Needed, and Provide Required Holiday Coverage Required.

This contract opportunity is suited for an experienced critical care RN with strong ICU and Emergency Department experience who is comfortable supporting multiple acute-care units as part of a hospital float pool.
