Field Service Engineer 2

GE HealthCare seeks a Field Service Engineer to perform preventative maintenance on medical equipment, assist with installations, and troubleshoot service issues. The role supports customer satisfaction through on-site and remote collaboration with experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-time preventative maintenance and follow Field Modification Instructions on designated equipment
• Assist senior field engineers with equipment installation and basic troubleshooting independently within one year
• Communicate with customers to resolve issues, recommend value-added services, and maintain satisfaction
• Manage administrative tasks including service logs, parts ordering, and cycle time tracking
• Identify sales leads, participate in contract renewals, and engage commercial counterparts to support revenue programs

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent military education
• High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of electronic equipment servicing experience
• Proficiency with Web applications and Microsoft Office suite
• Valid driver's license and willingness to work on-call including weekends
• Physical capability to lift 35 lbs, bend, climb, and maintain dexterity for extended periods
• Ability to pass background check and comply with customer access policies including immunization requirements
