Field Service Engineer 2

GE HealthCare seeks a Field Service Engineer 2 to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and installations of medical imaging equipment at customer healthcare facilities in South Carolina. The role requires independent problem-solving, customer relationship management, and onsite support with a provided company vehicle.

Responsibilities

Perform timely preventative maintenance on medical equipment to ensure optimal healthcare service delivery
Execute troubleshooting, repairs, and installations of moderate complexity independently
Lead customer communications, serve as escalation point, and own issues from identification through resolution
Lead equipment installations, validations, and maintenance activities on assigned modalities
Maintain customer relationships, ensure proper documentation, and recommend value-added services for business efficiency

Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's degree plus 3 years medical equipment service experience; or equivalent military education plus 3 years experience; or high school diploma plus 6 years experience
Valid driver's license and ability to maintain it
Experience interfacing with internal teams and external customers in solution-based service
Willingness to work after-hours, rotating on-call schedules, and weekends as needed
Proficiency with web applications and Microsoft Office products
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship available
Physical capability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform frequent bending, climbing, and extended standing
