Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Emergency Department RN for a 13-week travel assignment. The role involves delivering high-quality acute care in a Level 3 Trauma Center with a focus on trauma, stroke, and chest pain management.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency patients according to established protocols and standards.
• Monitor and operate advanced medical equipment including GE monitors, Lifepak, Baxter IV pumps, Ranger rapid infuser, and Ranger blood warmer.
• Administer medications and treatments, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Meditech Expanse EMR.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies and facilitate timely interventions, following BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certification standards.

Qualifications:

• Possess current active RN license and meet state licensing requirements.
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency room nursing experience.
• Hold valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
