Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

Join our team as an Electrical Engineer in Tempe, Arizona, a vibrant city known for its dynamic community and thriving technology sector. As part of our team, you'll work on projects that are central to our clients' business, including semiconductor manufacturing, research and development facilities, and other state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the schedule and technical quality of assigned routine engineering tasks.
• Gain familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule for assigned tasks.
• Recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly.
• Provide on-site assistance during startup and coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
• Work within a multi-discipline, highly interactive team to produce installation details, single-line diagrams, electric room layouts, motor control elementaries, connection diagrams, cable schedules, control panel layouts, and grounding, lighting, and power plans.

Qualifications

Here is what you'll need:

• Ability to work onsite in Tempe, AZ, a minimum of 4 days per week.
• Bachelor's or Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering.
• At least 6 years of Electrical Engineering experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Experience in Services During Construction (SDC) or Construction Administration (CA), including submittal reviews, RFI responses, design verification walks, and field observation reports.

Ideally, you'll also have:

• Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software.
• Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred in the State of California.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Forward-thinking and eager to learn best practices, contributing with innovative ideas.
• Ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.
• Passionate about buildings and construction.
