National Customs Director

A forwarding and logistics business wants a national customs director to lead customs and trade compliance across its US branches. You'd set the standard and keep the business compliant as it grows. The role Lead US customs brokerage and trade compliance across all branches. Own compliance with CBP regulations and reasonable care standards. Set policy for HTS classification, valuation, ISF, C-TPAT and PGA filings. Manage audits, protests, post-entry work and duty recovery through drawback. Support sales and clients as the senior customs authority. You\'ll fit if You are a Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) with at least 10 years in customs, including multi-site leadership. You know CBP regulations, classification, ISF, C-TPAT and PGAs in depth. You have owned compliance for a national forwarding operation. You are familiar with ABI/ACE and brokerage software such as CargoWise. On offer Full benefits, an above-market 401(k) match, and generous paid time off.
