MBG Mill Shop Technician

Job Details Job Location: MBG FL - Fort Pierce, FL 34946 Position Summary The Mill Shop Technician is responsible for prepping materials to be cut on the glass table and/or installed. Responsibilities Prep materials for installation by drilling, sanding, buffing, and polishing. Ensure all glass kits are complete and delivered on time. Follow all safety rules and hazardous material guidelines. Follow directions and maintain attention to detail. Perform job functions safely and effectively in a fast‑paced environment while wearing all required PPE and following safety policy. Practice good housekeeping by keeping work areas clean at all times. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. General math skills. Reasoning ability – apply common sense to carry out detailed instructions and solve problems involving a few concrete variables. Physical ability to stand 8 hours, walk 2 hours, and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently. Availability for occasional bending, squatting, and climbing ladders or stairs as required. Physical Demands Stand: 8 hours per shift. Walk: 2 hours per shift. Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently. Perform repetitive movements such as bending, squatting, and reaching above shoulder level regularly. Work Environment The work environment includes exposure to heat/cold, dust, dampness, chemical fumes, and noise. Personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, must be worn at all times.
