Administrative Assistant to Executive Officer, The Upper Room (Exempt), Reports to Executive Officer, The Upper Room

Location: Work from Home Position – Work from Nashville

The Administrative Assistant to Executive Officer , will perform a full range of administrative/technical functions of a highly confidential and complex nature, requiring independent judgment and thorough knowledge of The Upper Room/Discipleship Ministries. Coordinate events, activities and manage the flow of communication for the Executive Officer. Represents the Executive Officer to constituents, assisting with creative responses to delicate and confidential matters internally and externally, and completing a variety of administrative processes on behalf of the Executive Officer and The Upper Room. Will serve as staff and board liaison for The Upper Room.

Manages and coordinates meetings and relationships between the office of the Executive Officer and other entities as needed; handles all finances and records of events or projects of the Upper Room. Coordinates travel and expense reporting for The Executive Officer and The Upper Room Core team and manages invoices and contracts. Will also support the overall work of The Upper Room teams: Programming, Books, Editions, Fund Development, and Sales/Marketing/Fulfillment.

Education / Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

Two - four years of experience in event and project management.
