Position Overview and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for delivering exceptional, patient-focused care while overseeing all unit operations. Collaborating closely with the management team, the CNC assesses and ensures nursing care aligns with established protocols. This role also acts as a vital resource for staff, fostering an outstanding patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, tailor, and provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Support the admission and discharge processes.
  • Work alongside subject matter experts and leadership to enhance outcomes and service quality.
  • Offer coaching, feedback, and training to boost staff performance and engagement.
  • Assist in staff scheduling tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or CPR certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be secured within 30 days of hire
  • NIHSS Stroke Certification is required within 30 days of hire

Our facility is a comprehensive center with over 230 beds, serving Davidson, Wilson, and nearby counties. We feature a Level III Trauma Center and provide a wide range of acute care services, including cardiology, oncology, orthopedics/spine, rehabilitation, and women’s health. We are recognized as an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI and a Primary Stroke Center, leading in emergency heart and stroke care.
