About the Position

# Job Opportunity – Critical Care RN – CVICU – Texas**Start Date:** July 20, 2026 **Location:** North Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; 2 weekend shifts per two-week period; 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio**Highlights:**- 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit providing advanced critical care services- Excellent staffing ratios with 2:1 nurse-to-patient assignment and Charge Nurse support on every shift- Work with advanced equipment including GE monitors, EV 1000, Hemispheres, CRRT (NextStage), Impella, Swan Ganz, arterial lines, chest tubes, and ventilators- EMR system: Meditech- Primarily RN-staffed unit with collaborative care environment- Floating may include Medical ICU, Neuro Surgical ICU, or Cardiac Progressive Care Unit**Requirements:**- Active RN license- Minimum 2 years of critical care experience (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or any critical care specialty)- Ventilator management experience required- Arterial line, central line, and chest tube management skills required- BSN and CCRN certification preferred- CVICU-specific experience, CABG recovery, CRRT, and Impella experience highly preferred- Meditech EMR experience a plus**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This CVICU position offers nurses the chance to advance their critical care skills while working with a collaborative team dedicated to providing exceptional cardiovascular care.
