Registered Nurse (RN)

This position involves working night shifts with a schedule of 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates should be available for weekends and holidays, and may be required to float to similar acuity patient care areas if necessary.

The role is located in a 42-bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. The patient population includes individuals with conditions such as:

• Cardiac issues
• Diabetes
• Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
• Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
• Renal disorders
• General Surgery and Orthopedics

The nurse-patient ratio is 1:6, ensuring adequate support for patient care.

Minimum 1 year of inpatient experience required. Proficiency with insulin, heparin, and Lasix drips is mandatory. Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are required. Previous charge nurse experience is preferred. Experience with Meditech charting system is preferred.

All candidates must submit a current Nursys report dated within the last 7 days. Verification of education is required at the time of submission for non-RN specialties. Background checks and license verifications must be completed without outstanding issues.

The facility does not accept local travelers within a 50-mile radius, ensuring a diverse pool of candidates from outside the immediate area.

The nursing team consists of Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA/US), and unit secretaries, fostering a collaborative and supportive work atmosphere.
