IT Program Manager

Salary: $106,080 - 176,820.8 per year Requirements:

• We prefer a bachelors degree in computer science or a related discipline.
• We will also consider 5+ years of relevant experience in place of a degree.
• We prefer certification and hands-on experience with Epic applications such as Prelude, Cadence, HIM, Professional Billing, Hospital Billing, or Cogito.
• We prefer a PMP certification, or the ability to earn one within 18 months.
• We seek experience in healthcare IT environments.
• We value familiarity with ServiceNow, Wave, or similar platforms.

• We centralize intake for One Sentara Transformation Wave and other IT-led initiatives.
• We validate initiative documentation, including BRDs, TDDs, scope, and dependencies.
• We identify documentation gaps and partner with initiative owners, BRMs, and BAs to close them.
• We assess initiative scope and align the work to the appropriate IT owner.
• We coordinate and facilitate assignment of IT Milestone Owners.
• We support reassignment and escalation activities when ownership needs to change.
• We ensure ownership matches the actual effort and technical area involved.
• We coordinate resource requirements across interconnected initiatives.
• We help define scope and assess risk for technical programs.
• We identify cross-project dependencies and risks, then drive mitigation planning.
• We build effective partnerships across IT, operations, and business leadership.
• We resolve conflicts and help address project issues across teams.
• We influence stakeholders beyond our direct reporting structure.
• We act as a liaison among application, integration, analytics, and infrastructure teams.
• We provide coordination for smaller initiatives without dedicated enterprise project managers.
• We track IT milestones and support execution alignment.
• We facilitate communication and issue resolution among stakeholders.

We offer market-competitive compensation with a base salary range of $106,080.00 to $176,820.80 for full-time employment, along with additional compensation opportunities where applicable.
