Description

American Traveler is hiring a part-time RN for an Operating Room position in a multidiscipline surgical center requiring KY or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Details

• Work in a four operating room and four procedure room surgical services department serving over 9000 patients per year
• Services include endoscopy, pain management, ENT, general surgery, hand and foot procedures, and orthopedic procedures
• Part-time schedule of 16-24 hours per week on third shift
• Shift options include 6:30pm-7:00am or 10:30pm-7:00am

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted KY or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred
• No prior experience required, though previous nursing experience is preferred

Additional Information

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document care in accordance with RN scope of practice and hospital policies
• Coordinate patient care activities including admission, transfer, discharge, and patient/family education
• Delegate and oversee tasks performed by other care team members
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures
• Collaborate effectively with interprofessional care team members
