Linux System Engineer
Virtual Vocations Inc
Working remotely, the full-time System Linux Engineer will install, configure, and update third-party software while maintaining a portfolio of preconfigured applications and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Key responsibilities Maintain and update existing software as new versions are released Build new preconfigured applications for various services Troubleshoot installation and update failures, identifying root causes of issues Required qualifications Experience in Linux system administration, including services and configuration files Proficiency in Bash/shell scripting Strong debugging skills with the ability to learn unfamiliar software from documentation Ability to work independently on ad hoc tasks Fluency in English for daily communication with the team Virtual Vocations Inc
